Open Science Initiative

Accelerating Spatial Biology Together

At Lunaphore, we are dedicated to accelerating spatial biology research by promoting researcher collaboration and finding dissemination.

By promoting transparency, collaboration, and accessibility in scientific endeavours, open science is key to unlocking innovation and accelerating progress in research. For this purpose, we are proud to announce the launch of the Open Science Initiative.

What is the Open Science Initiative?

This program aims to reinforce the collaborations and dissemination of findings of researchers working with COMETthrough the support of travel and open-access publication fees.

Who can apply and which support can you obtain?

The program is open to any COMET™ user that generated data on the platform.

  • For COMET™ data accepted for a poster presentation or talk at a scientific conference, the selected applicant will be supported with a travel grant of 500 USD and 2000 USD respectively.
  • For COMET™ data included in a manuscript currently in the late reviewing process for publication in a peer-reviewed journal with open-access options, the selected applicant will be supported with full coverage of the open-access publication fees from the journal.

Why contribute to open science?

Break down barriers to knowledge.
