Field Application Scientist – North America

Lunaphore

Emily Martersteck completed her degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado in 2011. Trained as a neuroscientist, she joined Harvard’s Center for Brain Science in 2014, studying synaptic connectivity in mouse retina, leveraging early scRNA-seq techniques while doing a Master’s in Biotechnology Management. In 2018 she moved to industry, joining Advanced Cell Diagnostics as a Field Application Scientist (FAS) supporting RNAscope. In 2023 she worked as a FAS for Vizgen supporting MERSCOPE, before taking the opportunity to join Lunaphore in 2024 as a FAS supporting the COMET.
