Lunaphore and ACD are proud to offer the AACR 2026 Travel Grant, designed to support promising early-career researchers and established scientists attending the American Association of Cancer Research Annual Meeting in San Diego, California (April 17–22, 2026). This grant will foster innovation in cancer research by providing financial assistance to help outstanding scientists participate in this premier global event.

Eligibility Criteria

You have submitted an abstract to AACR 2026, and your abstract has been accepted for a poster or oral presentation.

You plan to attend AACR 2026 in San Diego, CA, from April 17–22, 2026.

Your work presented at AACR must substantively rely on data generated using Lunaphore and/or ACD technologies. Merely mentioning the technologies or planning to use them in future work does not meet eligibility.

Your research focuses on cancer, immune-oncology, or related biomedical fields, and spatial biology technologies are helping you to address specific questions with a novel and innovative approach.

You are not a practicing healthcare professional (“HCP”), including but not limited to physicians, assistants, nurses, clinical fellows with patient‑care responsibilities, pharmacists with prescribing or purchasing influence, or any individual legally defined as an HCP in their jurisdiction.

Terms and conditions:

1. Travel grants will be awarded to support attendance at AACR 2026 held in San Diego, California, from April 17-22, 2026 (travel, accommodation, registration fees, and other AACR-related attendance costs).

2. All applications must be submitted to Lunaphore, a Bio-Techne brand and Advanced Cell Diagnostics, a Bio-Techne brand, via the online application by March 22, 2026 at 12 AM (ET).

3. Any researcher from an academic, biopharma and CRO is eligible to apply (technicians, PhD/graduate students, post-docs, principal investigators).

4. Practicing healthcare professionals (“HCPs”) are not eligible to participate. For purposes of this program, HCPs include, but are not limited to, physicians, physician assistants, nurses, clinical fellows with patient-care responsibilities, pharmacists with prescribing or purchasing influence, or any individual legally defined as a healthcare professional in their jurisdiction.

5. Authorship of an abstract at AACR 2026 is required. Grant recipients are required to be the presenting author of the abstract.

6. Applicants must complete the application form in full.

7. By submitting an application, an applicant affirms that they are authorized by their institution to receive any award under this program. It is the applicant’s responsibility to obtain all institutional approvals (e.g., compliance, grants office, finance) prior to accepting funds.

8. Travel grant recipients will be determined via a selection committee based on eligibility, scientific innovation, relevance to spatial biology and impact of the research.

9. The recipients will be contacted by email and announced online.

10. Grant recipients will be asked to participate in a photo or video recording at the Lunaphore and ACD booth. Participation is voluntary, and any materials will be used to promote the announcement of the grant recipients.

11. Proof of attendance at AACR 2026 will be required prior to travel grant payment.

12. By submitting this application, you agree that Bio‑Techne and its brands may send you relevant marketing communications in accordance with Bio-Techne’s Privacy Notice. You may opt out of such communications at any time.

13. No purchase is necessary to apply or receive an award. The decision to use Lunaphore and/or ACD technologies must be independent and not conditioned on any purchase, pricing, or future business with Bio‑Techne or its brands.

14. Applicants may be offered a nominal‑value promotional item at the Lunaphore/ACD booth during AACR 2026, subject to availability and local rules. Acceptance of any item is optional and not conditioned on purchase or award selection.

15. The grant program is open worldwide except where prohibited by applicable law, regulation, or U.S., EU, or other applicable trade sanctions or export control laws. Recipients are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or reporting obligations arising from the award.

16. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the program or any award if fraud, technical failure, legal/regulatory changes, or other factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impair the integrity or feasibility of the grant program.
