About the meeting

Join us for the first COMET User Group Meeting EMEA on May 22, in Lausanne, Switzerland. The agenda will feature user experiences, workshops, and networking opportunities. The meeting represents a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share feedback. COMET users as well as RNAscope users interested in learning more about fully-automated multiomics on COMET are invited to attend.

On May 23, we will offer optional workshops to be held at Lunaphore headquarters.

Located in the heart of Lausanne, The Olympic Museum offers a fascinating journey through the history of the Olympic Games, showcasing iconic memorabilia and interactive exhibits. All event attendees will receive a free pass to explore the museum.

 

Getting there

By train: Direct trains link Lausanne to major cities in France, Italy, and Germany. You can travel from Paris, Milan, or southern Germany with fast and frequent connections.

By air: Geneva Airport offers direct flights to over 140 European destinations, including all the capitals. Major airlines, including low-cost carriers, provide convenient travel options. From the airport, Lausanne is a short 45-minute train ride away.

Accommodation

Lausanne offers a range of affordable accommodations, with an average cost of around 150 CHF/EUR per night. For attendees of the User Group Meeting, we have secured a special discounted rate with five hotels in Lausanne. A complimentary public transport pass will be provided by the hotels upon check-in.

As room availability is limited, we strongly encourage you to reserve your accommodation as early as possible to secure your stay.

Is the meeting open to anyone?
No, the meeting is exclusively for scientists using Lunaphore products for their research and selected RNAscope™ users. Please refrain from registering if you do not fall into these categories. 

Is there a limit on attendees from each institution?
Multiple people from each institution or research group are welcome to join. However, we recommend not sending more than 5 participants per institution/research group.

Can I attend only one day?
Yes, it is possible to attend only one day of the program.

How can I register?
To register, please fill out the form below.

Is attendance free?
Yes, registration and attendance are completely free. However, travel and accommodation costs will not be covered by Lunaphore. 

I am not based in Europe, can I join?
Yes, as long as you fall within the two categories indicated above. The second North America User Meeting will take place in the second half of 2025.
