About the seminar

Lunaphore is proud to organize an exclusive lunch and learn seminar in collaboration Dr. Kevin Pavelko and the Immune Monitoring Core. Join us to learn about COMET™ a fully automated system designed to streamline multiomics spatial biology research. COMET™ enables high-parameter analysis with fast hyperplex panel optimization, off-the-shelf reagents, and fully automated staining and imaging. It accommodates diverse sample types and allows for multiomic analysis of RNA and protein markers on the same sample.

Join the Lunaphore Team to explore how COMET™ can advance your research with high-quality, customizable data. Please RSVP using the form below.

SPEAKERS
Dr. Emily Thrash
Sr. Field Applications Scientist, Lunaphore

Emily earned her PhD in Biomedical Sciences and Cancer Immunology at the Ohio State University. At Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Core Facility Team Leader at the Center for Immuno-Oncology, Immune Assessment Lab. She worked as a Field Applications Scientist was at Fluidigm providing technical training and support for mass cytometry. Emily was also a Field Applications Scientist at ThermoFisher for Luminex-based multiplex transcriptomics and proteomic products and at Olink for the PEA technology. In January 2024, Emily joined Lunaphore as Senior Field Applications Scientist.
Dr. Kari Bonner
Sr. Technical Sales Specialist, Lunaphore
Kari earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Texas A&M University with a focus on RNA biology and gene expression control.  Her postdoctoral work focused on understanding the mechanisms by which upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in mRNA transcripts control gene expression. She worked as a Life Science Specialist for ThermoFisher before entering the field of spatial genomics with joining ACD as a Senior Account Executive in 2019.
Lily Reed
Sr. Technical Sales Specialist, Lunaphore

Lily worked as Lab Manager of the transgenic core facilities at Case Western Reserve University and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Shifting to the commercial sales field, she worked for Eppendorf and then at a Leica Microsystems distributor selling microinjection, microscopy, and histology sample prep instrumentation. Lily was introduced to the field of spatial biology in 2017 when she joined PerkinElmer. In 2019, she became part of Akoya Biosciences. Lily joined Lunaphore in November 2023.
