About the event

Discover spatial multiomics on COMET™ by engaging directly with our expert scientists at this conference. Experience firsthand how you can simultaneously detect RNA and protein markers within the same tissue section — all at subcellular resolution.

Our protease-free, fully automated workflow enables scalable multiomics across every stage of research. Connect with us at the conference to learn how our multiomics solutions can elevate your spatial biology projects.

Customer presentation

Join the presentation to hear real-world experiences and explore how spatial multiomics can be operationalized for efficiency, scalability, and impactful biological discovery.

Talk Title
The challenge of the modern pathology laboratory in the industry setting: building workflows that balance efficiency and scalability of digital high-plex technologies

In this session, Silvia Siso and Heather Knight from AbbVie will share how their pathology laboratory has integrated high-plex spatial proteomics and transcriptomics platforms such as COMET to build scalable, quality-controlled multimodal workflows. They will discuss practical insights from implementing digital, automated spatial-omics pipelines in a biopharmaceutical research setting — highlighting lessons learned, what worked, and what didn’t.

Speakers
Silvia Siso, DVM, MS, PhD – Scientist-Pathologist, Discovery Research Pathology, AbbVie
Heather Knight, BS, QIHCCM – Senior Scientist, Discovery Research Pathology, AbbVie
