Venture>> is an initiative by ETHZ, McKinsey & Company, Knecht Holding, CTI and EPFL. For their 2017 competition kick-off at Rolex Learning Center, a panel of former winners were invited on stage, such as EPFL’s president Martin Vetterli and our COO, to interact on the topic of startup creation.

The Lunaphore Team flew to Dubaï to attend the world’s largest laboratory congress, MEDLAB, with more than 30’000 laboratory professionals attending.

Going to conferences, presenting Lunaphore to visitors, the week was a successful immersion into the world of diagnostics and laboratory automation.

For the end of year, the whole Lunaphore team went to the mountains to spend 2 days in a chalet. On the program: workshops, team-building, brainstorming, hiking and a good raclette meal.

Lunaphore officially gets ISO9001 – Quality Management System of the company and ISO13485 – Medical devices Quality Management System.

The certification body in charge of conducting the audit and delivering the certification is Tüv-Süd Product Service GmbH.

As part of Lunaphore’s global business development, we are glad to announce having set and successfully tested our device with Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea.

“I could see faster and cleaner IHC results with Lunaphore” said Prof. Kyoung-Mee Kim, comparing to the standard methods used in their hospital as part of the Pathology & Translational Genomics Department.

This year, the 28th Congress of the European Society of Pathology took place in Cologne, Germany.

Lunaphore attended the event with a booth and our CTO, Diego Dupouy, was invited for a presentation of the latest data: “Continuous quantification of HER2 expression by microfluidic precision immunofluorescence estimates HER2 gene amplification in breast cancer“.
